Tourism is very much a developing industry in Romblon province. There are long
term government funded tourist infrastructure projects including major road
network upgrades ongoing, but at this stage travel within Romblon is only geared
for the small local market, not tourism. There are no taxis or buses in Romblon,
and only private vehicles for hire. Normal transport is via jeepney or "single" (passenger on the back of a
private motorbike).
